Abstract
This article presents a methodology for determining the basic parameters of a local power system based on the use of wind, solar, hydropower devices and the hydraulic accumulation of some of their energy, including the maximum volume of the upper water basin. The results of calculations performed on the basis of this method determined the maximum volume of the water basin, which will allow to accumulate 14% of the energy produced in the local power system with a capacity of 18 MW. The cost-effectiveness and functional advantages of the method of hydraulic accumulation of energy adopted in this local power system over lithium-ion batteries have been identified.
