Abstract

The transition from traditional ion exchange technologies of water desalination to baromembrane technologies is fully justified from the point of view of ecology. Baromembrane technologies are more expensive methods of preparing additional water for thermal power plants. Therefore, it is necessary in each case to assess the feasibility of upgrading individual nodes of the technological scheme of water treatment. This is especially true for thermal power plants with supercritical parameters, since the preparation of additional water of appropriate quality is possible only with the combined use of reverse osmosis and electrodeionization methods or with the combination of reverse osmosis and ion exchange methods. The article considers one of the possible options for choosing the optimal water treatment scheme based on the analysis of water quality after each stage of purification, the costs of introducing new methods of water treatment, the requirements for the qualification of personnel and environmental indicators of the water treatment plant.
